Newham and LCA
Hi all,
It seems that for some reasons Newham council prefers to favor London City Airport and not the people that elected them. This is strange. When you contact Newham they always repeat the mantra that not a lot of people complain and people do want this expansion. Yea right. Of course people want more planes on their heads and they will be happy with more noise. Not to mention pollution.
But Newham is so confident that no one but few people care that they didn’t even let people know about the application that going to affect so many people.
So I have an idea for Newham council. Put it for referendum and we will see how much support this application has. My guess is that 90% will object. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe it is 95%
But they will never do it… so the only action that we can take is reminding them next election who put them there.
